Terms of Agreement

  1. Cost per Lesson
The cost of one (1) guitar lesson shall be $40.00 (forty dollars and no cents). The Instructor shall give the Client advance notice in the amount of 30 days before changing the cost of a lesson. The Instructor shall not increase the cost of lessons for which the Client has already made payment.
  2. Method of Payment
Payment for guitar lessons shall be made on a monthly (by calendar month) basis. Before or at the first lesson of the month, the Client shall render payment for all scheduled lessons for that month.
  3. No-Shows and Cancellations Made Less than Twenty-Four (24) Hours in Advance of a Lesson
In scheduling a guitar lesson for the Client, the Instructor makes a commitment to and sets aside a certain amount of time for the Client. After scheduling the lesson, the Instructor can make no other commitment, financial and otherwise, for that time. In the past, no-shows and cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours in advance of a lesson have caused the Instructor financial loss. Conversely, for the Client, no-shows and cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours in advance by the Instructor can cause disappointment, impediment to progress, and financial loss. Therefore, the following conditions regarding no-shows and cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours in advance shall apply:
    1. No-Shows and Cancellations by Client
If the Client no-shows for a lesson, the Client shall have forfeited payment for that lesson and shall have forfeited claim to the missed lesson. Further, if the Client cancels the guitar lesson less than twenty-four (24) hours in advance of a lesson, then the Client shall have forfeited payment for that lesson and shall have forfeited claim to the missed lesson.
    2. No-Shows and Cancellations by Instructor
If the Instructor no-shows or cancels the guitar lesson less than twenty-four (24) hours in advance of a lesson, then the Client shall be entitled to: (1) a rescheduled lesson within one week of the no-show or cancelled lesson or cash reimbursement for the lesson and (2) credit for an additional lesson at no cost to the Client.
