  1. How long and how much do you charge for each lesson?
    Each lesson is 45 minutes in length (30 minutes for children under 12) at $35 per session.
  2. What is your method of receiving payment?
    Cash and personal checks are accepted. All lessons must be paid for a month’s in advance (see terms of agreement).
  3. Where do you teach?
    I teach from my home studio, which is on the Windward side (Kaneohe/Kahaluu) of Oahu. It is a 15-20 minute drive coming from most areas of the island and about 30-45 minutes away from my farthest clients (Hawaii Kai, Ewa, Waianae).
  4. How young is the youngest age you are willing to teach?
    I have worked with students from 5-82 years young and am willing to work with any one who has the patience and interest in learning.
  5. How often are lessons scheduled?
    This is based according to the individual’s needs, interest, goals, and time schedule. Most clients prefer to come once a week or once every other week.
  6. Do you teach groups and if so, how long are the sessions, and what are the rates?
    I do teach groups. My rate is $20 a head for each 45-minute session.
  7. What is the format of your teachings?
    Sessions cover fundamentals in music theory in relation to the guitar. Musicians with this knowledge will gain a better understanding of the music in which they are listening, playing, and creating. Students will also work with calisthenics designed for developing proper technique and finger dexterity.
